Ballarat memorials to the Australian POWs and the Montevideo Maru
The commemoration of both the Australian Prisoner-of War Memorial (6 February 2004) and the Memorial for those who died on board the Montevideo Maru (7 February 2004) was attended by a number of PNGAA members. Articles, including photographs, were received from Max Hayes, Erice Pizer and John McNabb. As only one of the articles was published in the June 2004 issue of Una Voce, for completeness (as each author treats the subject matter differently), the full text of each article is provided with these links.
