Chatswood networking meeting 19 May 2025

We had the best turnout – seventeen – to date at our quarterly PNGAA Networking meeting in May. In attendance were Mike Sandy, Linda Babao, Andrea Williams, Ross & Pat Johnson, Paul Munro, Phil Ainsworth, Steven Gagau, Wendy Smith, Bev Melrose, Alan Pierce, Bob O’Connell, Greg Corner, Luke Johnson, Nicci Foulsham (Pearl Expeditions), Mauricio Biscocho and Roy Ranney.

A main feature of the day was that Ross & Pat Johnson presented to those present the original “Flag”. The story of the “Flag” can be found HERE. 

We had some very interesting stories of experiences in PNG told by members. We also has a guest (Nicci) who explained that there was a new niche Cruise operator about to enter the PNG trade. You can see more about the company HERE.

The next Networking meeting is scheduled for Monday August 18th. We might be able to convince Ross to again bring the “flag” along if there are members who wish to see it and were unable to attend this last session. Please make a note in your diaries if the date fits with your travel plans.
