The Show Must Go On
In 2016, the Goroka Show celebrated its 60th anniversary. Natalie Wilson commemorated the event with her own thatch-roof HAUS PIKSA (cinema) inside the showground and screened a film documenting the Show’s history from 1956 to 1972, with historical photographs and films from private and public collections.
Natalie will screen segments of the film and discuss the difficulties and positive outcomes in undertaking this project.
